Pre-order Terms

Working draft, 1 September 2026. Amounts and dates are placeholders until the Maestro price and ship month are final. Have a lawyer read this before launch.

What a pre-order is

Maestro hasn't shipped yet. When you pre-order, you're reserving one from the first production run. We take a deposit now and charge the balance when your Maestro ships—not before.

What you pay, and when

Deposit: $50, charged at checkout.
Balance: $150, charged to the same card when your Maestro ships. We'll email you before we charge it.
Pay in full: if you choose this option at checkout, the full $200 is charged today and nothing further is owed.

Your card details are stored securely by Shopify, not by us. If your card expires or is replaced before we ship, we'll email you a link to update it. If we can't collect the balance after three attempts over 14 days, we'll hold your order for another 14 days and then cancel it and refund your deposit.

When it ships

Our stated ship window is December 2026. That's the date we have a reasonable basis to commit to today. If we can't ship within that window, we'll email you with the new date and you can either keep your order or cancel it for a full refund of everything you've paid. If the delay runs more than 30 days past the stated window and we haven't heard back from you, we'll cancel and refund automatically.

Cancelling

You can cancel any time before your Maestro ships, for any reason, for a full refund of everything you've paid. Email support@offpiste.tech with your order number. Refunds go back to the original card within 5–10 business days.

Once it's shipped, our standard return policy applies.

If you're in the EU or UK

Nothing here limits your statutory rights. You have the right to withdraw from this purchase within 14 days of receiving your Maestro, no reason needed, on top of the cancel-any-time-before-shipping promise above.

Price

The price you pre-order at is the price you pay. If the retail price goes up before launch, yours doesn't. Discount codes apply to the full price of the order; the deposit amount stays the same and the balance is reduced.
